Essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the dried seeds of Myristica fragans. It comes from Indonesia. Among its most important active components are: borneol, geraniol, linalool, eugenol, safrole and myristicin Cosmetic properties: tonic, dermoprotective and revitalising. Therapeutic properties: analgesic, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, parturient, inhibits prostaglandins and stimulant. Emotional properties: invigorating and stimulating the mind, psychotropic effect.
