A SOLAR LILAC PERCEIVED THROUGH A MUSY LENS For A Drop d'Issey, perfumer Ane Ayo has imagined a modern lilac, a full-bodied fragrance, a union between nature and technology. The top note is delicately floral, pure and clear Damask rose. The heart notes magnify the floral and solar tones of lilac with hints of almond milk and ethically sourced orange blossom. The base notes complete the fragrance with a musky accord of recycled Atlas cedar wood and vanillin. JUST ONE DROP The bottle combines the simplicity of a perfectly round shape with the transparency of glass, 5% recycled. Looking through the bottle, you can appreciate its magnifying glass effect that distorts perceptions with an optical illusion. The drop-shaped bottle is designed to lie flat. The drop within a drop at the back makes it easy to hold. On the box, a gleaming mirror lens creates a fisheye distortion, inviting us to look differently and open our minds to new perspectives. The paper used in the packaging is made with materials from well-managed forests and other controlled sources.
