Inside the case, watercolor drawings by artist Aino-Maija Metsola recreate the vibrant coral reef, teeming with life and color. THE HERMÈS DETAILFor each Parfum-Jardin, the Maison invites an artist to illustrate the case with a touch of poetry, giving them free rein to represent this garden through drawing. THE CREATION Created by Christine Nagel, perfumer for Hermès, Un Jardin à Cythère Eau de toilette is a surprising garden, neither green nor flowery, but… golden. The expression of an olfactory search through the Peloponnese that leads to Kythera, a protected Greek island that has inspired numerous artists. THE OLFACTORY NOTES The Eau de toilette Un Jardin à Cythère, a citrus and woody fragrance, combines the enveloping character of grasses with the strength of olive wood and the tenderness of fresh pistachio.
The eau de cologne: the green freshness of a great burst of orange with a woody signature. Founding cologne created by Françoise Caron in 1979 and inspired by the scent of an undergrowth moistened by morning dew, this fragrance, which has since established itself as an emblem of Hermès, is distinguished by the uniqueness of its freshness.
